Safety in Grinding

In the machining area, there is a recess with an angle of approx. 62 °. There are two versions: A primary safety equipment or a secondary safety equipment, i.e. in many cases the safety window must meet only secondary safety requirements. This means that the safety pane must not be able to resist the complete force produced by the grinding machine, but that the actual force to be resisted is lower. In machines without grinding disc protection, it must be made sure that in the direct trajectory zone of pane particles there is a thick protective equipment consisting of sheet metal. If this is not feasible, a safety pane from an extremely high resistance category should be used, since a grinding disck fragment may very well have a weight of 8 to 15 kg. For this reason,it is almost impossible to guarantee safety by using conventional materials.
